Safe Surrender Laws

Since the Safe Surrender Laws went into affect, it has been a good thing for this State. Actually, it has been a good thing for the entire country now that all 50 States have put this law on the books.

The only terrible thing about it is, there is not enough funds to keep it moving at a pace that is needed for it to get the word out. These are laws that are not funded which means they are not mandated.

There are few sites out there that have actually put some effort into the search, but one site which has been up and running for a few years now is Safe Surrender Site. www.safesurrendersite.com.

I have to hand it to this site, they have provided a system that is National and this is what is needed. For years they have placed calls into several county governments and most have not responded positively. It's a shame, but now is the time to work together on this important project and for those out there using it to rate their news websites are just tearing it down and defeating the program.

Bottom line, there needs to be a National Safe Surrender website portal for all entities to be placed in one location for a quick and easy search.
