Hello to everyone! It's been a while since my last posting and it's been a while since I spoke about the Manteca Bulletin. What's going on?
Well, I sort of took a vacation and got out of Dodge (Manteca). Being single and during this time of year I went overseas for a stint visiting old friends and made a few new ones during the travel.
I also spend time in Texas and New Mexico where I have relatives and I also spend time down south near San Diego, again with family.
I'm back, but this time for a short while, I'm now headed for Lake Tahoe to spend time with some friends at a cabin on the lake, or near the lake. They say we can walk to it across the street, so I guess that means there are no lake front or beach front properties in Lake Tahoe, I don't know. I haven't been there in over 15 years and they say the entire place is very different now. I'll be sure to write about it and take some snaps, too.
The hard part is getting there. I hate the snow when traveling. I'm leaving this afternoon and I should have some clear road ahead of me. Oh, I'm taking the bus, but I'm still frightened somewhat because I've heard of bus accidents during this season. I guess I should stop acting like a baby and take it all in and enjoy the time away.
I have lots to talk about when I return especially about the article Dennis wrote about Proposition 8.
Enough of me, I'm off to Lake Tahoe for the rest of this year. I have my cold weather clothes with me packed and extra change just in case I need to buy some new ones, warm clothed items.
So long Manteca, I won't miss you, but I'll be back after the new year. In the meantime, every one of you have a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year. God bless you all.
