We're seeing it now. Rick Warren, favorite shadow boy of the homosexual movement is now friends with Muslims. He shares the same message, 'fight global warming, inequality and respect of ones religion'.
He has very much started down the path of leaving behind his evangelical followers because of his successful book that made him millions. With this war chest he can do anything he wants in this circle.
Because he sided with Prop 8 and then said he did not support it, and got caught lying, he's now taking his self worth to the masses and is using 'religion' as his key to success. This will fail. Muslims do not like Christians, never have, never will. To make it sound very similar is a dangerous path to take because no one is going to believe it for too long and as far as a Muslim is concerned, death is a passionate way to die by killing Christians. So much for saving the planet, they want to build an atomic bomb.
He also appears to be reverent towards the Muslim god which is NOT the same God we Christians serve. Muslims are ordered to follow. Christians decide to follow. Allah does not love, Christ loves. Science has proved it again and again, water and oil do not mix and never will.
This sort of behavior and unbalanced approach to Muslims and his hidden agenda will cost him and it's only a matter of time. Rick Warren is only for Rick Warren and when you start to think you know best and leave the very basic fundamentals of being a Christian and try to re-invent them again and believe in it, you are treading on dangerous ground.
