Why Christians and the Church Are Weak and Helpless

I hate to write about this, but I have to.  I entitled this Christians and the Church are weak and helpless for a reason.  The church who follows their ministers have become weak.  They have taken the approach of purely following their ministers and the ministers are also to blame.  Ministers have taken a path to get the church to follow them and their ways, a shepherd and his flock.

This has caused many if not all to become lethargic and lazy.  Our country and way of life is in a terrible mess right now and corruption in our civic leaders has become an 'in-your-face' we don't care what you think, we're going to do it anyways type of politics.

Homosexual out of the closet senators such as Roy Ashburn who lied, cheated and deceived his family, his wife, his constituents and many others seems to get a free ride from the press and all those who are corrupt.

Washington politicians are attempting to take over 1/6 of our economy (the size of the entire country of Great Britain) forcing us into more tax slavery and controlling our every day lives and taking away our freedoms.  Why?  Because we have become lazy.

Ministers have taken the approach, we're tax-exempt and we just need to save souls.  HOGWASH!

What am I trying to say here?

In my city of Manteca, there are over 60 churches, many of them are very large and have many hundreds of members and non-member attendees every week.  There is even a Manteca Pastors Association.

I also attend city council meetings when I get a chance to, but out of all those who attend church, how come there isn't at least ONE church that has a ministry of men and women dedicated to meet every week, study and pray about our city and from that group, sign up attendees that will pack the city hall every time there is a council meeting?

Many come home to watch hours of TV every day.  Empty rubbish for the most part.  They will fill their mind with fruitless humor and sexual content and perverted reality that pollutes the mind, but they will attend church and sing songs and participate and ask God to forgive them and so on.  Just going through the religious steps of being seen by others in church.

Wouldn't it be not so difficult to have such a ministry in a church?  Don't you think that if this group of God fearing believers would make a difference in our city?  I guarantee you that not even the ACLU would be able to send their lesbians and fagots and every other pot smoking junky every week, they just don't have the time or people to handle it, but God's people sure do have the time, but what are they doing with it?  Why are not the pastors demanding that their members and attendees show up each month, twice a month, at their local city hall council meetings?  HECK!  WHY DON'T THE PASTORS SET THE EXAMPLE AND START SHOWING UP THEMSELVES AND PACK THE SEATS?

Get this...I remember a time when not even a single minister of the Manteca Pastors Association had anybody ready and willing to open with prayer at the council meetings.  And, when they did they left soon after praying and did not stay.  A few of them stayed for a bit and then left, but that was it.

How come our country is in disarray?  Because of the church!  How come we can't pack that town hall building with God fearing men and women helping steer the way to our prosperity and demand they get in line when they over-step their boundaries?  How come this ministry (that does not exist) doesn't find and pray for candidates that can and will stand up to those who wish to destroy our very Christian existence in every facet as possible from the liberals who only want to destroy God and take out every single hint of Christianity?  This while giving everything and standing up and supporting Islam and Muslims who outright openly condemn Christians and Jews and yet we stand on the sidelines and allow them to take over along with all the homosexual perverts.

We should all be ashamed of ourselves because we do nothing but complain and speak bitterness about everything that isn't right anymore.  If you can't trust a politician anymore, then do something about it.

HOSEA Chapter 4 says:

1 Hear the word of the LORD, you Israelites, because the LORD has a charge to bring against you who live in the land: "There is no faithfulness, no love, no acknowledgment of God in the land.
2 There is only cursing, lying and murder, stealing and adultery; they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed.

We are the ones who are reaping what we sew.  We are responsible and we only give excuses.  Read more of what God's Word says...
6 my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. "Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children.
7 The more the priests increased, the more they sinned against me; they exchanged their Glory for something disgraceful.
8 They feed on the sins of my people and relish their wickedness.
9 And it will be: Like people, like priests. I will punish both of them for their ways and repay them for their deeds.

What am I trying to say here?  I'm saying this to you.  This is a visual demonstration of unfaithfulness to God.  Leadership really is about sacrifice.  Many of us want the perks of leadership without the price of leadership.  Yet becoming a leader isn't about gaining rights; it's about giving them up.  Leaders relinquish options and remain careful to do all things for the sake of the gospel (1 Cor. 9:19-23).
Our conduct has become visible to the enemy and they know it and they have taken advantage of this.  Leading people is also about more than words; it really is a lifestyle.  We cannot separate our communication from our conduct.

Can we ever imagine how our lives would be if we were to create a ministry that holds people accountable and it only takes a few hours of our time each month and what would it do for our cities and schools?  Then, our State and then our Nation?

HOSEA Chapter 6

9 As marauders lie in ambush for a man, so do bands of priests; they murder on the road to Shechem, committing shameful crimes.

I see nothing but ministers and priests speaking about money.  Nothing but money and their current problems and also going far out on a limb to inform their congregation that there isn't enough money these days and they know it's tight, but you still need to give to God.  I'm not talking about those who tithe and give what is the LORDS.  It's still not enough for the church.
I see on TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network) these hypocrites who call themselves God's chosen.  Jumping around, yelling and screaming 'a harvest is about to come your way', send in money now!  Many of these so called glamor ministers also have many of those in the church following them and why is that?  They want to be seen and noticed for credibility.

13 Woe to them, because they have strayed from me! Destruction to them, because they have rebelled against me! I long to redeem them but they speak lies against me.
14 They do not cry out to me from their hearts but wail upon their beds. They gather together for grain and new wine but turn away from me.
15 I trained them and strengthened them, but they plot evil against me.
16 They do not turn to the Most High; they are like a faulty bow. Their leaders will fall by the sword because of their insolent words. For this they will be ridiculed in the land of Egypt.

HOSEA Chapter 9
9 They have sunk deep into corruption, as in the days of Gibeah. God will remember their wickedness and punish them for their sins.

The Lord talks about when the people have good leaders, they rejoice.  When they have bad leaders, the people moan.  The church might as well be some sort of political party and social get together for the sake of feeling good about themselves because its more rock and roll in the church and woman's breast hanging out like a Victoria Secret catalog including their female children doing the same.

I just about fell out of my pew one time when I saw a teenager sit down next to us with her breasts practically hanging out and I can see it all sideways and the cleavage.  Thank God my wife took that child aside and then  I got a text message on my phone telling me she was taking her down the street to the mall and buy her a very nice elegant blouse.  Since then, that girl has changed her ways.  Not going into this here, but our church has changed and this is why I brought this up.  Even the pastors wives are dressing this way.  Legs showing all the way up to their neck and breast hanging out 80%, gee, is my mind on God?  Am I focused to give praise to Him or admire the flesh?

For our nation to heal we need to start out on the local level and graduate up to the higher level of government.  It starts in our churches and right now the church is weak and infiltrated by sin.  Our country is now moaning and will soon be placed in prison.

Does Manteca Bulletin Need A Changing Of The Guard?

With the current ousting of Paul Mahony Publisher of the Manteca Bulletin for accusations of improper sexual harassment of female employees, one can only imagine, is this the time to start cleaning house and get rid of the Editor of the Manteca Bulletin at the same time?

I agree, we need some new blood because this newspaper is the mouthpiece of the City Council which makes this newspaper be perceived as non-creditable. Last night on Fox40 News we saw Dennis Wyatt in action placing his hand in front of the camera and did not like the fact that some punk* reporter and his camera man were taping him asking some simple questions.  *I'm not saying the Fox40 reporter is a 'punk', this is only used as a metaphor as to how Dennis Wyatt treated this guy who was only doing his job and doing it very well.

Dennis Wyatt on the other hand has been very elusive and with his current writing of articles, many of them should be opinions and the opinions should be articles.  Sometimes he's 'Left' and sometimes he's 'Right'.  Very confusing and definetely not what you want in an editor that writes most of the paper and takes sides all the time.  He should be totally neutral in each case except for when we need to blast the legislator for stealing our local money.

I think it's time now for the owner of the MB to appoint a new editor and make the paper worth while again and become more conservative, it will earn more dollars than it does now and that's what it's all about.  Isn't it?

PG&E Donates To Homosexual Activists Against Prop 8 Including Steve DeBrum And Jack Snyder

I'm not going to discuss this one too much because it is obvious that Jack Snyder and Steve DeBrum have hidden their intentions to the voters by filing late to avoid any voters to change their minds on the absentee ballots. This is called a trick and since it's close to Halloween, I find it interesting that the trick is on us and the treat is on them.

Pacific Gas and Electric uses what they call 'shareholder' money in campaigns, but most people who are PG&E customers see it as 'ratepayer' money.

Steve DeBrum lists on his website that he is a member and Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus at St. Anthony's Parish in Manteca. However, the U.S. Bishops Committee on Marriage and Family and the Knights of Columbus are spearheading Proposition 8 in California. Yet, Steve DeBrum continues to accept homosexual activist money from PG&E who is against Proposition 8 and for the defeat of family marriage and has donated $250,000.00 for the defeat of Proposition 8.

These two men who claim to be honorable are actually HORRIBLE!

They need to do the honorable thing and give back the money and repent to Manteca citizens. What a lie and full-out trickery just like a den of thieves. All this to retain their seats on the council.

My vote goes for Samuel Anderson, again. He's the ONLY candidate that openly supports marriage for one man and one woman and Proposition 8. It is amazing how the ministers and preachers of Manteca don't do anything about this. Where are they? If you don't speak out against these two, then all of YOU are hypocrites just like them. I'll be sure to keep an eye out on the clergy in Manteca on this issue. I'll post you my update about the ministers later on.

Where Are The Churches This Election Year

Manteca has a sizable community of churches and other religious organizations and yet none of them seem to be involved in their local politics. Why is that?

I'm just going to say it because no one else will. This might offend others, but it's the gospel truth. It's because of their stupidity. Pure ignorance. Too many excuses they give to not get involved and voice their concerns about their community. They do not realize how much power they have and what they can do. They can pretty much do whatever they want except take donations for any candidate and tell their congregation on who they should vote for. Other than that, it's fair game. If you want to find out what you can do, contact Focus on the Family Action Center and they will give you all the legal information you can use for your churches.

Now why don't they do it? It seems that some are getting behind the Proposition 8 fight against homosexual marriage in California which they should have fought much earlier and not allowed it to even become law. Some are coming out and the rest are hiding and silently keeping to themselves.

The election in Manteca has now become a focal point of greed and need. The current incumbents have raised a record amount of money in order to pay for services to sell to voters why they need to vote for them in November. How come we don't have a single church inviting these candidates into their pews and speaking on the issues?

This is a concern to me as it involves everyone and it is important that we know who these candidates are and where they stand on the issues, moral and other. Where are you ministers and pastors? Start inviting them and let's find out just who they are shall we?
